No publication date. I’m guessing around 1800’s, turn of the century. Lots of wonderful illustrations. Should be interesting reading. In the entry “Modern India” are sections titled The Story of the Mutiny and Native Attitude to Britain.

I can’t seem to find the entire set but I didn’t look very hard. Maybe ask Per?
That looks fascinating! Beautiful plates.
Did a quick search which suggests around 1915. Grolier Society. Also appears that Forgotten books has reprinted it recently. Looks interesting. A whole set would be fabulous!
It would be wonderful to have the set.
Geeze, wonder what a reprint set would cost? Can’t imagine who’d purchase a reprint set such as this.
